The statewide judicial emergency order restricting proceedings has been extended until October 10. However, local jurisdictions have discretion to resume grand jury proceedings.

Massachusetts

Proceedings have resumed subject to restrictions and remote alternatives.  In-person jury trials may resume as early as October 23 in selected locations under Phase 1 of a court reopening plan. This plan will allow for less complex cases to be tried in front of six-member jury panels.
