Jeep’s Fuel Tank's Positioning Was Not Reckless, Defense Says in Wrongful Death Suit

Brian Bell tells jurors that Chrysler’s decision to place the fuel  tank in the rear of its 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee was not a reckless decision, in light of other manufacturers that used the same placement during that time. Bell represents Chrysler in James and Lindsay Walden’s suit claiming that the Jeep’s fuel tank placement led to the fire that killed their four-year-old son Remington in 2012.
