Medical Concierge Firm Breached Promise of “Exceptional” Care, Argues Plaintiff’s Attorney

Jack Scarola tells jurors that concierge medical services firm MDVIP never exercised its quality control authority to ensure that one of its member patients, Joan Beber received the “exceptional” medical care the firm promised her. Beber’s husband, Robert, whom Scarola represents, sued MDVIP and its affiliated physician, Dr.Charles Metzger, for malpractice, claiming Metzger did not diagnose Joan Beber’s vascular disease in time to save her leg.
