Jeffrey Furr tells jurors that the diseases John McCoy claims his wife, Glodine McCoy, suffered from because of her smoking were either not linked to her smoking or were time barred. John McCoy is suing Philip Morris and Furr’s client, R.J. Reynolds, claiming the tobacco manufacturers’ concealment of smoking’s risks caused Glodine McCoy’s lung cancer and respiratory diseases.
